Anemone Canadensis. White flowers, grows 20-50 cm tall, blooms May and June. Can be grown in full sun or partial shade. Makes a lush ground cover. Spreads aggressively by roots and can become invasive so is best to contain this plant. Stratify (moist chill) seeds for 6 weeks before planting seed in early spring. Fall planted seeds require no treatment. Sow seeds 4 to 6 mm (1/8-1/4") deep. Germination may take one to six months.
