Cream of Saskatchewan
An heirloom watermelon brought to Saskatchewan by Russian immigrants. The sweet pale yellow flesh is full of flavour. Produces 10- 12 pound melons with very thin rinds that crack easily and must be handled with care. Cream of Saskatchewan is one of the best tasting watermelons around. This package contains 20 seeds.
Start indoors under bright lights 3 to 4 weeks before last frost. Sow 1 to 2 cm deep. Seeds should sprout in 5 to 10 days. Transplant seedlings to a sunny outdoor location once the danger of frost has passed.
