(Solidgo rigida) Yellow flowers, grows 10-40 cm tall, blooms August to early October. Adds bright colour to a fall garden.
Planting Instructions: Seed in early June or late fall. Sow seeds 3 to 6 mm (1/8-1/4”) deep.
Historical: Used for bladder and kidney medicine, tea and herbal baths. The yellow flower heads were used to make yellow dye.
Habitat: Common on prairies and open woodlands.
