(Lilium philadelphicum) Scarlet-orange flowers, with dark spots 20-76 cm tall, blooms July and August. Floral emblem of Saskatchewan.
Planting Instructions: Mix seeds with moist vermiculite and place in a Ziploc bag. Store at room temperature. The seeds should germinate in 3 to 4 weeks. Plant when green shoots appear. Only one small leaf forms in the first year. Very slow growing but should bloom in the third year after planting.
