(Oenthera biennis) Yellow flowers, grows 50-150 cm tall, blooms July to September. Blooms from evening to sunrise. Attracts moths and nocturnal insects. Transplants easily. Spreads rapidly if seed allowed to disperse.
Planting Instructions: Seed in early June or late fall. Sow seeds 4 to 6 mm ( 1/8-1/4”) deep.
Historical: Use to heal wounds and as an antispasmodic. Seeds are a source of omega 3.
